Can someone help me with the marks on this Russian malachite brooch and earrings? The marks on the brooch are clear to read, but I can't make out any of the marks on the earring wires. Thanks so much.

Re: Russian Gold Hallmark Help, Please
oel - The link you posted was to a page with Dutch silver marks. I'm not sure what relevance this has to my question about Russian gold marks. Please clarify.
Re: Russian Gold Hallmark Help, Please
Wrong link, try again
Re: Russian Gold Hallmark Help, Please
oel - I have done all that. My uploaded images are 640 x 480 and hosted on postimage. I followed all the instructions on this site and the Priview still does not show images. I run a Web store and am familiar with Photoshop, my pictures are good. I'm not sure what's wrong.
I appreciate your trying to help, but why not try clicking on the links which will show you the pictures?

Re: Russian Gold Hallmark Help, Please
OK - now it seems to suddenly be working. I did the same thing I did before, so I'm gue4ssing it was some sort of snafu, maybe since I haven't posted in some years. But whatever - here are the pics:

Re: Russian Gold Hallmark Help, Please
Hi,
Unfortunately, the marks appear to be faked and over-struck on genuine marks (red arrow).
St Petersburg city mark must not look like this, maker`s mark is poorly cut.
Assayer is missing. Even with limited space on jewelry legislation was strictly obeyed in regard of marks.
Hollow gold and silver was marked on back plate before assembling the piece, every link on e.g. bracelets.
Compare with the brooch I posted.

In a word, it`s not Imperial Russian jewelry.
Let`s wait what other members of the forum have to say.

Hi Marnski, why have you removed your images? Please have those replaced for the benefit of others. Thanks.
