Crown 100 ? Silver Mark (Very Crude) on a Spoon

Post by flexaplex »

Hi.

Could anyone please help identify this Silver Mark. It looks like a very crude crown with 100 after, and possibly a letter after the 100 but it's very rubbed? I guess it's European or perhaps fake I don't really know.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Hello, the crown is most likely the mark of flatware maker Kierdorf from Solingen. 100 is a plate number. See here for a short explanation:
