Please help identify the mystery of this tobacco pipe. The photo is of a silver wind cap on a tobacco pipe, there is no hallmark on the pipe. I had two maritime institutions in the USA try to help me identify the the incident and the people associated with the this tobacco pipe with no success, they told me that this is more then likely a British incident that happened on the Chinese Sea because of the coat of arms / family crest that is engraved on it. Does anybody recognize this coat of arms / family crest and can associate a family name to it ?. Does anybody have any connections or recommendations to to a maritime institution in Britain to help solve the mystery of this tobacco pipe ?. Thank you in advance.
