Hello. As the topic says, I need help to identify the maker and when it was made. As I understand correctly this should be German as there is used 12 Loth silver (750). I do not know what deer stands for. Is it a maker or is a City?

Hi,
Theoderich is most likely right about the Romanian origin of the basket.
Bacău (German: Bakau),located in Moldavia region in the east of the country.
Many silversmiths from Balkan countries were trained in Austria-Hungary and when returned back home used Loth standards and even created their own town mark punches.
Regards
