Austro-Hungarian gold ring

Post by Ag1990 »

Can someone help me figure out what "WSz" means? Does anyone know who the maker is?
As you can see there is also a mark that indicates that the ring was made in the Austro-Hungarian Empire - the fox head.

Most likely Hungarian; there seems to be assay office P for Pest and Sz letters are indicative of Hungarian name, unless the jeweler of Hungarian origin worked elsewhere in The Empire, but there is letter P for Pest.

Ok, thank you! Would you happen to know how I can find out who the jeweler was? Besides searching this forum I mean.
