Hello guys, I bought this ring a while back for my girlfriend in Ireland. We got told it is of French origin but could also be Russian, the hallmarks are rubbed off and hard to read. The ring is supposedly 1/4 ct emerald with diamond chips set in silver with an 18 ct gold shank. The hallmarks are in the outside of the ring, but there is a hallmark on the inside too. It is supposedly a 19th-century ring.
We have been looking for information about this ring for weeks now but couldn't decipher the hallmarks, nor find out the ring's origin or what time period the style belong to. Is there anyone who could help us? We would greatly appreciate any help as we want to learn more about the ring!
