Re: Italian 1930s cigarette case marks identification
I think there is Italian-German connection here. Italian mark with ``fasces`` indicates the period of Fascist party 1934 -1944, and 10 FI should be 10 FI, the mark of BINAZZI ADRIANA in RICCI fu Cesare Via Romana 63 FIRENZE registered 27/4/1935.
FS could be Scheurle Franz, later Scheurle Quinn - Schwäbisch Gmünd.
If the engraved inscription is in Italian, I opt for German made case, imported to Italy and retailed there. Having in mind the relation between two countries at the time, there must have been substantial trade between them, including retailing of silver.
Regards

Hello, Scheurle certainly comes to mind when seeeing this object, but the "real" Scheurle mark is without any dot. So I wonder... Regards, Bahner
