I have an 800 grade table snuff box approximately 7 cm across.
The hallmarks on the base I believe suggest it's German. However I can't find a maker for it. Can you help?
As it's not too clear in the photo I can tell you that the three initials in the shield are A M & S and each is followed by a dot.
The importers mark (?) on the rim of the body does not have a date letter though the shape of the Leopard mark suggests it's post 1935. The initials seem to be EC when seen under a loupe though it's possible they are FC.
