Could use assistance ID'ing these Egyptian hallmarks.
From what I could gather via google, it was made in Cairo and from sometime after 1949 due to the lotus flower? Other than that, I'm pretty lost. Especially when it comes to determining silver fineness. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Could use assistance ID'ing these Egyptian hallmarks.
Hi welcome to the forum. The marks are dirty and not convincing and could be fake. The first mark at the left assay office identifier - Cairo, above fineness mark =80% Silver ٨٠
2nd Mark, indeed the Lotus flower, introduced in October 1946. The 3rd Mark, year letter probably ف for 1978 .
