Hello, all!
I recently purchased a couple of teaspoons in a Louis XV pattern, but the hallmarks have provided something of a mystery. Said marks are – from left to right – a crown, a right-facing lion passant, and the word “sterling.”
My research has thus far led me to conclude that I’m probably looking at North American pseudohallmarks, but I haven’t been able to confirm that… nor have I been able to uncover the specific maker, an approximate date of manufacture, or anything else.
Any information that anyone can provide would be much appreciated! Thank you in advance!

Thank you for the insight, Trev!
Unfortunately, the images in that thread are no longer visible. Do you happen to have an intact resource to which you could point me? I’m sure that you’re correct; I just prefer to have visual confirmation whenever possible.
