I have a ring with five hallmarks that I believe is made of silver. I've tried to identify the hallmarks, but I'm quite uncertain about them. My best guess is that the fifth mark starts with the letters "SC" followed by what appears to be a head with a helmet. After that, there seem to be either two letters or a marking ending with the letter "S." To me, it appears to be a "poinçon d'importateur," but that’s just a guess. The rest of the hallmarks are completely unclear to me.
Could anyone help me identify where this ring might come from? Additionally, I’d love to hear your thoughts on what kind of stone it might be.
