German rococo snuff box
The cover is engraved with a bird and a cottage amidst trees, all contained in a small shaped panel by a border of "C "scrolls on stippled ground.
The base is engraved with architectural panels around its sides, gilt interior.
Sizes 7cm wide, 5,5 cm deep, 2,4 cm high. Weight 65 gram
Mark of IP, and a rearing horse (slightly distorted) for Stuttgart late 17th century or early to mid 18th century.
