Silver peacocks

Post by Vantlicht »

Silver peacocks from Spain, but I am not familiar with silversmiths from Spain. Is there somebody who can help me here?

Thanks in advance!

Hello
These are game birds - such as grouse or quail - used as centrepieces or sideboard decoration when the menu includes wild game. They are not peacocks.

There’s a trail in the following thread which leads back through links to contributor OVO in Madrid who claimed this was the mark of Garrido: viewtopic.php?p=214219&hilit=garrido#p214219
