Post by plxsh »

Hi,
Can someone help identify the master and the period it comes from and read the engraving?

Hello! Made in Moscow in 1908-1917, possibly before 1927. Unfortunately, the name of the silversmith is temporarily unknown.

Thanks. Any ideas about engraver? Is this NP or DR? maybe Cyrillic?

Of the four makers with these initials listed in Ivanov's "Gold and Silversmiths in Russia", the only one working in Moscow was Nikolai Pavlovich Shishkov: "owned a gold and silverware shop, mentioned in 1913. Moscow"
