Help ID: French silverplate maker’s mark “SB” inside vesica piscis + letter “K”

Post by Tora »

Hello everyone,

I'm hoping to identify a hallmark I couldn't find in any reference. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Item: Cocktail moussoir/whisk, length 165 mm, 4 tines plus a central knob, gold-toned stem with silver-plated tips.

Hallmarks:

SB inside a vesica piscis (almond-shaped/cartouche) on the back

Separate letter K elsewhere on the item

No country indication like “France” or Minerva lion/boar’s head

Style: High resemblance to Italian “Grasoli Twirly”, but the hallmark appears French, possibly a factory logo for métal argenté, circa 1960–70s (new Art Deco / modernist barware).

Can anyone help identify a French maker using SB within a vesica piscis? I believe it may be a rare or private brand not listed in reference books.
Thank you in advance!
