This candlestick (1 of a pair) appears to be Birmingham 1803, but I can not find an appropriate Makers Mark. There is J.C.&S. but nothing with J & C.
Can anyone help, please?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your candlesticks were assayed in Birmingham in 1905, they were made by Edward Jones and Hubert Crompton.
