Antique carving set

Post by Beezlebub »

I have this carving set with Sheffield marks which are either 1786 or 1902 per the date mark, I'm leaning towards 1786 but I will let the experts here tell me. The makers mark is also a question as I can't find one to match.

Definitely 1902. I can't help with the maker though.

Hello.

Samuel Biggin & Son entered that mark at Sheffield on July 10, 1888.
Located at 42 Cambridge Street, Sheffield.
