Just thought I'd post this image that I found in a trade mark register that was part of 'The Jeweller & Metalworker Annual' of 1917.

It just goes to show how easy it can be to attribute something to the wrong manufacturer. In this case, G H Johnstone & Co. were a maker of small pieces, but according to their advertisements, they also made items such a scarf pins etc. and who knows what else they may also have made, and if you're like me, an eternal optimist, you desperately want to believe the piece you have found is by Jensen, and not Johnstone (no disrespect to Mr Johnstone).

G. H. Johnstone & Co. were recorded at 38, Northampton Street, Birmingham, and 65, Hatton Garden, London.
