I have a couple of nice sterling spoons. They are very pointy and sharp at the tips and they have a rim around the bottom edge of the bowl. They are marked with what is either,"J.S. Co.", "F. S. Co." or T. S. Co". This is followed by some sort of mark that I cannot make out, then the word "sterling" and "Pat Apld For".
I am hoping that someone can help me out with who the maker is and what this type of sharp spoon was used for.
Thank you in advance!
