I am pretty sure the cursive "A" is 1975.
The maker is JS in a shield.
I can't find any info to see if Joseph Smith & Sons engraved silver that decade.
Any help would be appreciated.


Thanks for the info. I couldn't find another JS that fit. Did you look at the "A". Looks like 1995 to me or could be 1950. I am new at this and really enjoying researching the marks.MCB wrote:Hello and welcome to the forum.

My notes show a bracelet assayed in 1988 was attributed to the company and they may well have been making jewellery much later.
