Cigarette Case -

Post by ajm600 »

The object is a lizard/crocodile cigarette case. The mark (triangle) is not English - I think. Has anyone any ideas as to the provenance? Thanks for your time

Would look to be the Birmingham mark for imported goods. Date wise, oh, 1905 I would guess. The "maker" is actually the sponsor/importer. I don't know who that is.

The mark on your case is that of Joseph Henry Abrahams & Henry Clarence Abrahams trading as Barnett H Abrahams registered at 133/135 Houndsditch, London EC
