Makers mark BG on coronation candelabras

Post by sarahg1960 »

I received a pair of sterling candelabras from my mother that I am unable to identify the makers mark on. The rest I have found (anchor representing Birmingham; lion passant; date mark script C representing 1952; and Coronation duty mark). It is the initials BG (above the others in the photo) that I cannot find any information on. Unfortunately, I do not have a camera that takes the best of pictures, but the marks are all very clear in person, so I am confident that the makers mark is actually BG. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
