Chas. H. Whiting Offers Traffic Signal to Plainville

Traffic lights for the center of the town at Plainville, Mass., are practically assured. For several years the selectmen of the town have tried to come to some agreement with the state as to what kind of a traffic signal could be placed there. Some time ago Charles A. Whiting of the Whiting & Davis Co., advised the selectmen that if they could come to any decision as to what would be suitable at this point he would present such a signal to the town. Announcement has now been made that such a decision has been made by the selectmen and new traffic signals are assured within a month.
