Harold Sweet, H. K. Sturdy, Lawrence Keeler and Edward Anthony are taking part in the annual Fall tennis tournament which is being conducted by the Highland Country Club.
Last week the R. F. Simmons Co. declared its annual profit-sharing dividend to its employes. The amount that was distributed this year was $6,853.65, which is 4 per cent. of the total wages paid during the year of 1910, which amounted to $171,805. This was a small falling off from the year of 1909, when the total amount of wages paid was $175,807 and the dividend $7,032. The year 1909 was the largest on record.

Harold E. Sweet, of the R. F. Simmons Co., last week issued a public statement announcing his support to William H. Saart, of the Saart Bros. Co., for mayor of the city.
Harold E. Sweet, of the R. F. Simmons Co., gave a dinner last week to 50 members of the Massachusetts Relief Officers’ Association who held their annual meeting in Attleboro. The members visited the Simmons, S. O. Bigney Co. and Watson Co.’s factories.

The R. F. Simmons Co. distributed its final bonus of 1923 among its 200 and more employes last Thursday. This is the last of a series of bonus sums that have been given the employes of this concern throughout the year just closing. The amount that was distributed Thursday was between $4,000 and $5,000, and everyone who works in the factory is included in the division, which is made in proportion to the earnings of each.
