An action was commenced in the United States Circuit Court, last week, by the Niagara Silver Co. and the Rodwell Sign Co. against Julius Caesar, Frederick Caesar and August Caesar, composing the firm of Caesar Bros. The suit is in equity to restrain the defendants from infringing a patent on sign letters granted to J. E. Barrett, in July, 1887, and now owned by the Niagara Silver Co. The usual preliminary and perpetual injunctions, damages and costs are demanded.

W. S. Rockwell & Co., New York, have just erected at the Washington Navy Yard one of their large size double-end oil annealing furnaces and their improved duplex system for burning fuel oil. They have also just completed an annealing and tempering equipment for the Niagara Silver Co., Niagara Falls, N. Y., consisting of one of their oil annealing furnaces, one tempering furnace and their improved duplex system for burning fuel oil.
