MAURICE L. RUDER

Baltimore


Maurice L. Ruder obtained a verdict of one cent damages in Part 2 of the Court of Common Pleas Wednesday, in his suit against Arthur C. Frey for alleged defamatory language used by Mr. Frey in reference to Mr. Ruder in his business as a jeweler. The trouble occurred in a dispute over a sapphire ring which the defendant bought from the plaintiff.

JACOB M. PAUL

Jacob M. Paul, jeweler, located at 3310 Eastern Ave., Baltimore, Md., for the past 34 years, had made some extensive improvements on the second floor of his establishment. Mr. Paul has installed a new modern front on the second floor thus providing considerably more selling space and more display space for merchandise. A watch repair department has been established in the new sales area and the rest of the floor will be devoted to the sale of electrical appliances, television sets and radios.
