ZAMORA & Co.
Manila, Philippines
Jeweler of Philippines Accused of Diamond Stealing
Manila, P. I., Nov. 11.—A large theft of diamonds and other jewelry has been under investigation for the last two months by the detective bureau, and at last the man who stole them has been caught. He is Tomas Zamora, who did business in this city as a jeweler under the firm name of Zamora & Co.
In this capacity he was trusted with a considerable quantity of jewelry worth over $2,000. Zamora was to have cleaned and repaired the jewels, but it is charged that he applied them to his own use. It is stated that other complaints of a similar nature will be made against him.
