A new lighter known as the Bowers No 10 has recently been introduced by the Bowers Manufacturing Company of Kalamazoo, Mich.
The lighter is said to be windproof and features a new type hinge permitting rigidity and perfect balance when the lighter is open a large fluid capacity and a funnel type filler hole instant replacement of flint, a large 'thumb easy' wheel which is said to insure 'feather touch' lighting, and a spring mounted snuffer cap which prevents evaporation of fluid.
The new lighter is now being displayed in better pipe and tobacco shops in most localities.

Bowers Lighter Company, Kalamazo, Mich., is starting national distribution on a new line of table and pocket lighters which include plain and jeweled push-button table models, a series of regular table lighters, and a series of enameled, hand-painted and engraved damascene pocket lighters.

Table lighters in three new designs were recently introduced by Daltis, Inc., specialty manufacturer of New York, NY.
The lighters pictured above are quite large and hold a good supply of fluid making frequent refilling unnecessary.
At the left is a slender six sided model while on the right is one of larger capacity known as the Barrel Table Lighter.
In the center is the new Hand Grenade Table Lighter which is proving popular especially with newly returned servicemen who find in the design a
practical souvenir. All of the styles are now available and may be seen displayed in many stores and shops in most cities.
Richard H. Bennett has been appointed general sales manager of Bentley Lighter Corporation, according to Norman Allen, general manager, who said Bennett will direct all national sales, marketing, and merchandising activities of the producer of the Bentley drop-in cartridge refill type.
