I found this bucket at a sale and it has a clear "84" stamp on it. There are two other stamps that I can't make out but they look to be in arabic writing. I can't get a clear picture. Any info is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello,
this bucket could come from the asian part of the former Russia. When you find the 84, it means 84 zolotniki what is now 875 . But you must show the whole Hallmark to find out where and who.

Thank you for that info, I had to find a cam era that was capable of taking that close of a picture. Here she goes. I would be so happy if you could tell me more from these pictures.

It is Iranian, if memory serves, the mark with rounded ends is the maker's mark for Parvaresh, located in Isfahan.

Thank you so much for your info Tom, can you confirm that it is silver or give me an approximate date? Also I have three trays, one that has similar markings, and two that have none, but have the same pattern. any idea?

can you confirm that it is silver
No, of course I can't. I can only tell you that these are Iranian silver marks. I would date it to the middle third of the twentieth century. Almost every piece of Iranian silver found in the USA appears to stem from this era.
