Hello and welcome.
That might be FC over CH for the Mappin Brothers.
Charles Mappin (son of Edward Mappin) took over the firm in 1875.
He also brought two new partners into the business, Frederick Crockford and Charles Hickson.
Crockford and Hickson later took over the firm.
Under the name Mappin Brothers, they entered their own marks at Sheffield in December of 1883.
They sold the company in 1889.
Pat.
Thanx
