Help me identify Maker's Mark on German Sterling corkscrew

Post by SandraLeeWay »

Hi! This is a collapsible wine corkscrew with the word Germany imprinted on the metal corkscrew itself. The word Sterling is imprinted at the bottom of the holder with a maker's mark to the left of the word, Sterling. After hours of research I cannot find out who this maker's mark belongs to, when it was made, etc.
It is 3 1/2 inches long and pulls apart, then the metal corkscrew can be pulled out of the top piece and dropped down. You then put the bottom piece back on and it is ready to use. The top has a loop so that this could be carried on a necklace or key chain?
This is my first posting and I think my first attempt did not go on because one of the photos was over 8 inches.
Thank you!
