Please see the photos for the teapot and the mark. It is 800 silver and there is a GR under a crown and what looks like a Viking ship?? I looked through all the marks for European countries, particularly Scandanavian ones and did not find these marks. If anyone can help, I am appreciative.

Hanau pseudomarks - I am sure.
The ship is Strömstad before 1860. The crowned look like Göteborg GB - but here GR
800 is not corresponding with anything sweden
My conclusion Hanau

Ok, so I think I get the idea here. After looking up Georg Roth, there is mention of the crown over GR as one of his marks. And the ship is a bit of a red herring, as one of those "using older marks" that Hanau is known for. Do I understand correctly? And would that date the piece to around 1890-1910?
Wow this website and forum are incredibly useful. THANK YOU! (not yelling, just emphatic)
