This is Robert Livingston(e) Christie. Christie's were perhaps the longest running business, involved in the silver trade, in Edinburgh. Established in 1821, they finally closed their doors for the last time in 2007.

The firm was in the hands of Joseph Esplin Cargill and Grace Mary Christie during the earlier part of the 20th century and later under George Richardson Cumming.
Robert Livingston(e) Christie entered marks at the London and Edinburgh assay offices.
