I have tried using the hallmark guides but find it confusing as I have never tried to do this before. Can someone help me date this watch? Thank you

From what I can tell of your watch it appears to be a Fusee, or chain driven, watch. Most of these watches predate 1850. Watch movements and cases were sold separately. The buyer would select a movement then buy a case for it, so the marks on the watch case do not necessarily date the watch. Can you tell me all the marks that are on the movement of the watch, that would help very much in dating it, I cant quite make out the marks on the movement in the picture.

The only marks I can see on the movement are
the number 7376 and then an S and F presumably for fast or slow adjustment.

Thanks for info so far.

For what it is worth, the case dates to 1830. Maker looks to be Vale & Ratheram (Jacksons 3rd edition page 356).
