The mark lost "b" ?

Post by seawind »

Hello everyone.
I found a strange mark yesterday. http://img04.taobaocdn.com/imgextra/i4/ ... x10000.jpg
I think it is the mark of Adie Brothers Ltd, but the standard mark of the company is "BROS+A+LTD" (http://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/Make ... sLtd-1.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;),not "ROS+A+LTD", anyone can tell me why the first mark lost "B" or it is a mark of another company?
Thank you.

I think this is most likely the result of a mis-struck or damaged punch.

Hi Disc,

Welkom to the forum.

Your cocktail shaker is not made out of silver but silver plated; EPNS or Electro Plated Nickel (with) Silver
and A1 quality indication. See electroplating; http://www.925-1000.com/silverglossary2.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;"
For more information please start a new thread and images are required.
