Interesting thread because I have seen this incuse mark attributed to Richard Stevens on silver items on Duvallier's, antiquesilverspoons and I think Weldon's websites but it's not the mark shown in the book Cork Silver and Gold, where it appears as RS in a rectangular punch. Did Richard Stevens use two sets of marks?

Indeed he did. Douglas Bennett, the doyen of Irish silver shows this exact mark on p.191 of 'Collecting Irish Silver'.
