Unless stamped elsewhere the salt which is pictured has not been hallmarked at a UK Assay Office and therefore may not be of our standard of silver.
If the salts were made in the UK a suggested manufacturer is Charles Favell & Co of 111 Arundel Street, Sheffield who registered a mark similar to the one shown here at the Sheffield Assay Office in 1901.
