Could anyone help me to Identify the maker, the picture if of a Silver Sugar Bowl, Sheffield 1956.

I've been looking online and cannot find who the maker is, the picture isn't the cleared but the INitials are 'W I H'

Maker 'W I H' who is he? the maker is stamped in a half circle with the curve on the bottom and a straight line along the top

Welcome to the Forum.

It is possible that you you have only a partially stuck mark. Put the item in the freezer for 20 minutes, take it out, and then take another shot of the mark using the macro (tulip mark) feature on your camera. You will find that when the item hits the warmer air it will haze over and remove the glare and reflection. Crop and enlarge the mark image.

The mark is definately stamped clearly ' W I H'
