G'Day from Down Under,
I have a silver christening cutlery set that I am unable to identify, I do not know if they are English, American or Australian. It consists of a fork, spoon and a shovel and has a Puss in Boots pattern on each item.
The markings on the back are: **** which has a loop coming from the base of the *, under and around the rest of the word, I figured this is the maker but I am unable to find any information to verify the origin of this maker.
Then there are markings following of E P N S with the last marking being A1 on its side, which I found to mean Electro Plated Nickel Silver and the A1 being the style they were made in.
Is anyone able to identify these markings and pieces or advise me of a web-site where I might find information leading to their origin.
Many thanks for your time and effort in assisting me with this problem.
Kindly,
Michelle Kahler.
