O. F. Samuelson, representing the Towle Mfg. Co., has completed his traveling for the year and is now spending about 10 days at Wendell, Idaho, visiting at his cousin’s ranch. Harry Hillman, of the same concern, also completed his trip through Michigan and is now spending the balance of the year at the Chicago office.

CHICAGO

W. A. Kinsman, general manager of the Towle Mfg. Co., Newburyport, Mass., accompanied by Louis Stevens, spent several days in Chicago last week going over new Spring lines with the Towle travelers.

Towle Silversmiths recently made several new appointments to the firm’s sales force. New appointments for the firm are: Dean E. Libner representing the Seattle, Washington, Portland, Ore., territory; George R. Livermore representing the North and South Carolina territory; Clyde H. Wilson, Jr., appointed to the New Orleans territory; George W. Justice representing the Washington, D.C. and Virginia area; Alfred W. Greer appointed to the Florida territory; William S. Cunninghan representing the Denver, Colo. territory; and Frederick N. Noseworthy appointed to the San Francisco, Calif. territory.

CHICAGO

Albert Felden Leimer, of A. C. Felden Leimer, Portland, Ore., spent a few days here last week on his way home from the east, accompanied by his wife. Felden Leimer has engaged the services of Robert Aikin, formerly with the Chicago offices of the Towle Mfg. Co., for the silverware department of his concern.

J. Norman Jubb, Towle Silversmiths’ sales representative in San Francisco, recently was transferred by the company and appointed sales representative for the New York City area. He is succeeded by E. T. Catlett in San Francisco.

A. N. R. J. A. Convention - St. Louis - 1924

Towle Mfg. Co., Newburyport, Mass.

The Towie Mfg. Co., Newburyport, Mass., occupied both a booth on the main floor and a room on one of the upper floors to display their line of fine sterling silver and explain their dealer help plans to visitors at the convention. On the main floor was shown pieces from all their active patterns and many pieces of hollowware. They were featuring one of their most recent patterns, Louis XIV., both in flatware and the hollowware pieces that go to make up a complete service. In room 740 they had other samples of their line, but more particularly this room was devoted to the showing of their advertising plans and dealers help information. The exhibit and display for this company was in charge of A. L. Fuller, manager of the Chicago office. Mr. Fuller was assisted by Mrs. Fuller, W. A. Kinsman, F. J. Spellman and Charles A. Bartling.

PHILADELPHIA

Wiliam E. Heisley, for the past six years employed by the Towle Mfg. Co., Newburyport, Mass., has opened a silverware factory at 712 Sansom St. Mr. Heisley will make his home at 547 N. Creighton St.

Changes in the traveling force of the Towle Mfg. Co. are as follows: Zealy M Hanau takes Ohio and Michigan in Mr Lusk’s old territory; De Forest Ely, formerly with the Barbour Silver Co., will take Mr. Haber's territory in the central west.

Arthur L. Fuller, manager of the Chicago office of the Towle Mfg. Co., H. F. Hillman and John A. Irons, representatives, left on Tuesday of this week for the home offices at Newburyport, Mass., to attend a sales conference. O. F. Samuelson and Frank J. Spellman, left on Sunday with their wives to motor to New York city. Mrs. Spellman and Mrs. Samuelson will remain in New York visiting while their husbands attend the sales meeting.

John S. O’Connell, of the Towle Mfg. Co., at Newburyport, Mass., spent a few days in Chicago last week making arrangements to call on the trade at the Pacific Coast. He left to make the final trip for O. F. Samuelson, Coast representative, who has been detained in Chicago on account of the serious illness of his wife. Mrs. Samuelson is still in St. Luke’s Hospital, but improving from her illness as rapidly as can be expected.

Claude G. Pendill, sales manager of the Towle Mfg. Co., visited the Chicago office last week. He was accompanied by his wife who has been spending the summer in Wisconsin.

W. A. Kinsman, vice-president and general manager of the Towle Mfg. Co., Newburyport, Mass., spent a few days at their Chicago office recently. Mr. Kinsman was returning home after an extended trip to Alaska and the Canadian Rockies on which he was accompanied by his wife and sister.
