Hello,
I need help identifying this hallmark.
I would also love to know what those symbols are in between the "E" and the "C"
Thank you,
Sara

Hi Sara,
Welcome to the Forum.
I would also love to know what those symbols are in between the "E" and the "C"
To me, this would represent two people holding hands.

Sure. "from Mr. Potatoehead to Mrs. Potatohead" Trev--have you been listening to that '60's pop song "Matchstick Men"? Good to know there's more than 1 crazy person on this site!

Dognose, do you think the initials are "EC" then and the two figures holding hands are just decorative? :)
Thank you,
Sara

Hi Sara,
I would think yes, EC, and the two figures part of the artists signature, perhaps that of an amateur silversmith?

I'm not sure if this matters anymore but it seems to me that it represents a husband and wife Navajo artist....its too good to be amateur work...it has to be 60's - 70's because of the style and engraver usage...but what a cool piece! Hope they figured it out!

Ouch! I can imagine a lot of people getting their hackles up over that remark!
