Unknown Birmingham Maker

Hello,

This is my first post, excuse me if I don't get it quite right.

I have a glass and claret decanter and am trying to identify the maker. I have looked on this and several other site and believe the work to be of sterling, made in Birmingham, perhaps in 1874. I have been unable to find a Makers' mark to match.

Hi,
The maker is Jehoiada Alsop Rhodes of SHEFFIELD (the crown), not Birmingham.

Btw. date letter ``G`` within this cartouche (background) stands for 1874.
