Scottish Spoon Marked AR Egg Spoon?

Hello Please can someone help with these marks. Is this an early egg spoon?

The hallmark is Edinburgh 1811 although missing the city mark. AR has been identified by the Edinburgh Incorporation of Goldsmiths as "possibly Alexander Rollo", a Dundee goldsmith.
