Any information on this CS & FS button?

Post by doctorscotland »

Hello!
This is my first post, so please be gentle with me!
I have four silver buttons hallmarked with an anchor, a lion, and a lowercase b. They also have the markings CS*FS.

After a little research I believe them to have been made in Birmingham in 1901, by Cornelius D Saunders and James Francis H Shepherd.

Am I correct in thinking this?

(admit edit - see guidelines)

Many thanks for reading this - hope you can help!

Hello Doctor,

These buttons usually come in boxed sets of six. All the sets I've seen have been from 1895-1905.
You were right with the maker and date.
