I am a relative of John Herbst, of the Herbst and Wassall silver shop in NYC circa 1930's I believe. I have been told that John used a hallmark in the shape of a simple bell when he made items not associated with Herbst and Wassall(star wing). Does anyone have an image of this mark that they could share with me. Thank you.
