Does anybody recognize this mark on a spoon bowl? Thanks!

Hello, just came upon this post. Can not tell exactly where this mark is on the bowl, but wondered if it was a pre manufactured fancy "blank field" for a local jeweller to inscribe a buyer's monogram. Surely that would give the opportunity of easy personalisation of a "stock" item.
