Good day
Any idea where these are from and how old they are? It's marked J&N then INS and then a weird animal?

Hi Jannie,
Nice find! Jamieson & Naughton of Inverness, it would date around c.1825.
The "weird animal" is a cornucopia.

Good day
My friend send pictures of these spoons to Ashbey’s Galleries in Cape Town. They told her they are not rare, silver plated. Are there similar silver plated marks like these out there or are the auction house appraisers just not that good?

Hi Jannie,
Cape Town is a long way from Inverness, perhaps they have not come across such marks before.
