I’ve been reading the small type on the interesting file you posted. Do you think this piece was made by the Howard Sterling Company rather than the Roger Williams Silver Co.? Any idea when? It could have been any time between 1898 and 1902. Do you agree?

Your piece was made by Howard. Roger Williams acquired some of Howard's flatware dies, producing the Howard patterns bearing their mark, in 1913, Roger Williams was acquired by Mount Vernon and some of the old Howard patterns were then produced bearing their mark...

My hallmark appears only once in the catalogs, in 1892 for a souvenir spoon, while the other hallmarks appear regularly in ads and are even discussed in the Jewelers' Circular. I find this strange. Do you have any ideas when my hallmark was used? Would you say my bowl is from the 1890s?

BTW, my hallmark, the one appearing in the ad, and the one on this website all use different fonts and clover shape. And the design of my bowl, especially the handle, is very different from anything else appearing in the ads.
