Hello,
This post is for the second ring of which I have inherited
Again after hours of research I haven't got very far, I understand that it is 18ct Gold with Platinum.
However I can not find what the 'N1111' means or who the maker was '.HS.'
Thank you for the help in advance
Lucie

I know this is an old post but replying in case anybody in the future has similar questions
Hubert Siegmund is the hallmark for HS in the diamond, they registered in 1915 in London, UK.
The use of CT indicated this ring is pre 1930ish
1932 - By an Order in Council the 15 and 12 carat standards for gold were cancelled, and substitute for one of 14 carats. (S.R. & O. 1932/654)
So this should give a window on age on the ring being between 1915-1932.
N1111 is just a jewelers stock number and doesnt really mean anything or add value.

Actually, I stand corrected. I messaged
The.Library@thegoldsmiths.co.uk as the hallmarked looked slightly different to the maker I mentioned.
They said:
Unfortunately, we can’t help you with these marks as they do not form part of an official UK hallmark, they have been placed there by the manufacturers themselves, even if the HS mark is registered at one of the assay offices without the rest of the hallmark, we are unable to narrow down an origin or date for it.
We have no .HS. mark on our database. H. SIEGMUND registered H.S in 1915 which is a different mark.
so looks like this mark maybe lost to time.
