Was Robert Allison as early as 1937 - ? Glascow

Hi All - Pretty sure this is Robert Allison however the date and city is throwing me slighty. Am I correct with the marking - Robert Allison, Glascow....and the O looks to wide for 1961 so thinking 1937?? Any help appreciated as I am hoping to define some history against these items from my mum's estate. Thanks in advance. Regards Grid

It's definitely Glasgow, 1961. You should not be looking to distinguish the letter shapes from each other but in this case to note that the punch shapes are completely different. Examples:
